Symposium 1 Emerging mechanisms and interactions in autoimmune thyroid disease 10월 31일(금) 08:30-09:50, Room1 소개의 글: 자가면역 갑상선 질환은 다양한 환경적 요인과 유전적 소인의 복잡한 상호작용에 의해 발병하는 것으로 알려져 있습니다. 본 세션에서는 자가면역 갑상선 질환의 병태생리와 관련하여 셀레늄의 역할과 장내 미생물군이 미치는 영향 등 최근 주목받고 있는 새로운 기전을 고찰하고, 갑상선 안병증의 병태 생리에 대한 최근 연구 결과들이 논의될 예정입니다. 자가면역 갑상선질환의 발병 기전과 관련된 아직 밝혀지지 않은 부분들에 대한 이해를 넓히는 데 유익한 시간이 될 것입니다.

Symposium 6 Remained barriers to therapeutic choice for thyroid diseases 11월 1일(토) 08:30-09:50, Room1 소개의 글: 국내 근거와 장기적인 경험의 축적을 바탕으로 갑상선 질환 치료 과정에서 직면하는 다양한 임상적 고민들을 살펴보고자 합니다. 이번 세션에서는 그레이브스병 치료에서 방사성 요오드 치료에 대해 최근 국내 진료 지침 마련 과정에서 논의된 주요 쟁점을 소개하고, 전 세계적으로 확대되고 있는 미세갑상선유두암에 대한 적극적 감시의 흐름 속에서 국내 코호트 데이터를 중심으로 한 연구 결과를 공유할 예정입니다. 또한 적극적 감시 시대에서 thermal ablation의 역할과 임상적 의의를 함께 논의하고자 합니다.
